I’ve tried to buy this twice now, and both times checkout failed. The local availability was wrong again too, which is so frustrating. It feels like I’m stuck in this loop of thinking it’s in stock, trying to order, and then getting nowhere

"Bottle looks nice, but it’s annoying to use"
I wasn’t really happy with the packaging, to be honest. The bottle looks fine sitting on a shelf, but actually holding it and pouring from it is awkward, especially when it’s cold and slippery. The cap also feels kind of cheap and is more annoying to open than it should be...
The outer box my order came in wasn’t great either. It just felt like not much thought went into it, which surprised me for such a big brand. I expected a better overall experience, so I probably wouldn’t order from the site again..

"Smooth at first, but I’m not sure I’d buy it again"
I picked up a bottle of Jagermeister thinking I’d enjoy it more, especially since it goes down smooth when it’s ice cold. At first I was like, okay, this isn’t bad. But the finish is where I kind of regretted the purchase a bit. It hangs around with that strong herbal taste longer than I’d like. It’s not terrible or anything, but after a couple pours I was already over it. Probably not something I’d reach for often

"Feels a bit expensive buying direct"
I enjoy Jäger every now and then, so I figured ordering from Jägermeister would be a decent way to grab a bottle. But the price felt a little high, and once delivery was added, I started wondering if other people are getting better deals elsewhere.
The drink itself is fine and there’s nothing really wrong with the order, I just expected buying direct to feel like better value. Curious if anyone else felt the same or if I just caught it at the wrong time.

"Definitely better ice cold"
I tried it straight from the freezer, it hits way better that way. I’m a little suspicious it’s not even the same experience when it’s just regular cold, because the freezer-cold version was the one that actually stood out to me.

"Fine depending on what you're mixing"
I picked this up thinking it would be an easy thing to keep around for cocktails, and I did try it in a couple different drinks just to see where it fit best. It’s not bad, and in the right mix it can work well, especially if the other ingredients are strong enough to balance it out. That said, after a few tries I realized the flavor kind of jumps in and takes over quicker than I’d like, so for me it’s only good in certain cocktails...

"Nice herbal flavor, just a little intense"
I actually really like the sweet herbal taste, especially when it’s cold. It’s got a nice little kick to it. That said... after a few shots, it does start to feel a bit syrupy and strong. Still good overall, though.
